I have had this light for about a year now and a few others by mars hydro. It has been a great light. I did recently run in to an issue with the light and had to reach out to support. I spoke to Janet and explained my problem. She was very prompt and offered a replacment light. The customer service has been a good experience for me. I will not hesitate in ordering more lights from them in the future.So far it's what I expected. Got in a 2'6" by 2'6" tent and I would say perfect for that but no larger. With a properly set up tent environment is easy to control. I use on full power in veg, all 140 watts. Price is right that's for sure. Great for seedlings because you have so much control. I have a small solar setup and the entire tent and all accessories run off of it that I think is kinda fun. The light is very bright for 140 watts and does not kill solar batteries. I set to 9000 Lux for seedlings and 40,000 lux in full veg and all that in between. Plants look great can't tell difference between larger grow setup. I have 500ah bank and on a good day I'll get 40 Amps from 3 panels, as long as there is sun batteries never drop below 60%. I add this because electricity maybe real expensive pretty soon. I could alway throw a little auto flower in there for the head. If the light lasts for as long as they say or close can't complain. Good quality over all. A little light like this with a dimmer is very cool.I originally purchased my light over 2.2 years ago. Had some LED's starting to go out so I reached out to MH support via email and worked with a person named Janet. She said to send a picture and movie if possible so I sent her the same ones here. She then ran it by techs and they said the only thing they can do is replace the light.Janet said they will do this and I just needed to pay the 20 dollars for shipping. I agreed and a few days later I recieved a brand new TS1000 kit(hydrometer, timer, etc). More than they had to do and I'm pretty happy with their service. Janet was great to work with as well, responded to my emails promptly and kept me up to date.Great light and service and have had many nice yielding plants!I have 2ts 1000"s one 210 wt.and a240 wt.in a 4x4.I know that is a little overkill but the m.h is 150 wt.eachI used the product two years just fine to keep outdoor plants on the basement during winter.Put it back into the box it came in twice now. Was packed in 2 boxes - the second one was a little excessive in terms of dimensions, but it was well-packed. The accessory hangars/cord pulleys work really well. Appreciate the AU plug - it's actually a standard 3-pin IEC C13 connector, so replacements are easy enough to fine.Had a tiny bit of trouble plugging the power into the light array, so be aware that the hole drilled for the plug at the side of the unit is a very snug fit. I wasn't pushing it through firmly enough at first, but I gently held the other side of the plug receiver, gave it slightly firmer pressure and it went through and stayed snug in the socket.I find it a little strange that you get more info on this Amazon page than you do the Mars Hydro site, but check their recommendations here for light intensity - e.g. 25% for germination. I've got the light hanging fairly low at present, only 35cm from the top of the plants, so I've got it set at a bit over 15% (checking for about 8000 lux using a phone-based light meter, which is accurate enough).Anyway good product, seems to do exactly what it says on the tin, with a simple, good design with well-made components.Update: tried turning both on after 3 months of non-use. Now one is failing to turn on. Do not recommend this product.Original: Bought two of these. Not sure if it's just poor workmanship of if these are both duds - LEDs have an afterglow that persists after you turn them off, one more bright than the other. Will persist through a timer turning them off. Have had to manually unplug them from the powerboard to remove the residual power.One of the light's plugs for the driver arrived misaligned and required a bit of effort to plug in.I didn't notice for the first few weeks so I hope they have stressed the plants out too much.So I got myself this package which came with a hanger set. With this going through Prime, shipping was really quick. It arrived within a few days since placing the order!For my initial impressions, I can't say how much I appreciate it coming with an Australian power cable. That saves me from having to look for an adapter (or purchase yet another one). The whole thing was packed carefully. There was ample padding, there was even a padded piece of plywood to prevent the middle from getting crushed or bent or warped.I can't wait to test this kit out!Great grow lamp, fully adjustable and therefore can be used from seedlings to full Blume ?
